EHS Consultant

Waterford – Manufacturing Facility 

EHS International is hiring on behalf of our client for a EHS Consultant (1 – 4 years experience) to support a Safety Consultancy service. This is a full-time, site-based role, reporting to the Senior EHS Consultant. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in ensuring compliance with SHAWAWA 2005, General Application Regulations 2007–2021, and Construction Regulations 2013 
• Support the review and update of SOPs, risk assessments, and safety documentation 
• Participate in site inspections, safety meetings, and toolbox talks 
• Help monitor PPE usage, welfare facilities, and emergency procedures 
• Assist in incident reporting, safety audits, and follow-up actions 
• Promote a positive safety culture across client operations 

Requirements: 

• Qualification in EHS or related field 
• Knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation 
• Strong communication and organisational skills 
• Comfortable in a site-based environment 
• Computer skills essential
