About the Role

This Finance Manager role offers an opportunity to take full ownership of the financial function within a dynamic, international business. You will work closely with the Managing Director and the Group CFO to lead financial reporting, ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and support the company’s ongoing expansion in the IRE and EUR regions. The role is critical to shaping financial strategy, driving commercial performance, and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of financial management including monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support strategic decision-making for projects across Ireland and mainland Europe
• Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations across multiple international jurisdictions
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit preparation and delivery
• Provide financial oversight and recommendations to both the Managing Director and Group CFO
• Improve financial controls and develop standardized processes across divisions
• Partner with operations, commercial, and project teams to improve cost tracking and financial reporting accuracy
• Prepare detailed reports for group-level consolidation and stakeholder review

Candidate Requirements

• ACCA qualified
• Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience
• Strong track record of working in international finance, with experience across Ireland and European markets
• Commercial acumen with strong technical accounting background
• Excellent stakeholder communication and business partnering skills
• Experience in high-compliance sectors such as construction, pharma, or engineering (preferred but not essential)
• Open to candidates from outside the construction sector with the right international exposure
• Confident, analytical, and detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven approach
