Operations Finance Controller

Our client, a global pharmaceutical organization, are seeking an experienced Operations Finance Controller to support a multi-product manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role requiring strong SAP (CO module) expertise, standard costing knowledge, and close collaboration with Operations and HQ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead weekly and monthly manufacturing performance reporting (output, WIP, yields, overheads) to local management and Head Office.
• Own standard costing, tariff and BOM maintenance, ensuring accurate product costing within SAP.
• Drive variance analysis across materials, labour and overheads, partnering with Operations to resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts and annual physical inventory processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and KPI dashboard development, with a strong focus on SAP-based reporting (minimising Excel reliance).

Requirements:

• 5–7 years’ experience in a manufacturing finance or plant controlling role.
• Strong hands-on SAP experience (particularly the Controlling/CO module).
• Proven experience in standard costing, variance analysis and MRP-driven environments.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (CIMA/ACCA/ACA desirable)
