Accountant
Accountant required to join the finance team of a growing organisation in Cork. The role suits a Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant with strong commercial awareness and management accounting experience. Your Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Budget preparation and ongoing budget management
- Financial forecasting and variance analysis
- Group consolidation and reporting
- Preparation and analysis of financial information for senior management
- Supporting month end and year end reporting processes
- Identifying trends, risks and opportunities through financial analysis
- Assisting with financial planning and decision making
- Improving financial processes, systems and reporting
- Working closely with stakeholders across the wider business
Your Requirements:
- Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant
- Experience in a commercial finance or accounting environment
- Strong experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Experience with financial consolidation and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good understanding of management accounts and financial reporting
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders across the business
