Gastro Department Supervisor / Deli Supervisor

For our client, a leading Irish food, and convenience retailer in city Cork, Ireland, we are looking for a Gastro department Supervisor / Deli Supervisor.Candidate information/requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have at least two years of work experience as a Gastro department/Fresh food Supervisor
• Previous experience working in a canteen, fast food, or a restaurant
• HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety Protocols knowledge would be a plus
• Excellent customer service, good leadership, and organizational skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers
• A good level of English is required

About the job:

● Permanent, full-time position

● If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with two weeks of free accommodation. After that, you will be paying 90€ (+ utilities) per week for a private room in the nearby area

● Salary after tax in Ireland for this Gastro Department Supervisor role will be 2.266€ - 2.390 € net per month (31.200 € - 33.280 € gross; before tax, per year) on 40 hours per week

● Your salary will be paid weekly every week (523 € -552 € net per week)

● Your duties will be to:

• Supervise and support the deli team to ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service
• Prepare and cook fresh meals daily, using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients where possible
• Manage stock levels, place orders, and minimize waste
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal policies
• Assist in menu planning and introduce new meal ideas to keep offerings fresh and exciting
• Provide training and motivation to deli staff

Employer will provide training.
