Sales Specialist – Endoscopy | South West Ireland (Cork Preferred)
A growing healthcare and medical device company is currently looking to hire a Sales Specialist to support continued growth across Ireland, with a strong focus on the Munster region. Ideally, candidates will be based in Cork or the wider South West Ireland area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with medical device sales experience who enjoys building relationships within hospital environments and wants to join a growing and supportive healthcare team.
The Role
This position will focus on driving sales growth across an established territory whilst also developing new business opportunities within the endoscopy space.
The successful candidate will work closely with hospitals, clinicians, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders to support product growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term account development.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve and exceed targets
• Manage and grow existing hospital accounts across Ireland
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory
• Build strong relationships with clinicians, nurses, procurement teams, and hospital stakeholders
• Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and customer training
• Support customers with product knowledge and ongoing account management
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
• Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and CRM activity records
• Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
Requirements
• Previous experience within medical device sales
• Endoscopy consumables experience is highly preferred
• Strong territory management and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Commercially driven with a proactive mindset
• Able to work independently whilst also collaborating within a wider team
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, Nursing, or a related discipline preferred
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory
