M&M Qualtech are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner for a full time maternity cover contract.
The HR Business Partner will provide comprehensive hands-on HR support across all areas of the employee lifecycle within a manufacturing environment. This role is both operational and advisory, supporting leaders and employees with day-to-day people matters while ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation and company policies. The role will also act as a key link between the business and HR, contributing to a positive, high-performance culture.

Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Systems
- Administer and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and timely updates of employee data.
- Produce HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and compliance requirements.
- Maintain personnel files in line with GDPR and company standards.
Employee Relations & Case Management
- Lead end-to-end employee relations case management, including performance, disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability cases.
- Provide clear, practical advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, ensuring consistency and fairness.
- Support investigations, hearings, and appeals in line with company policy and Irish employment legislation.
Payroll & Reward Support
- Act as the HR payroll subject matter expert, working closely with payroll providers/finance to ensure accurate processing.
- Manage payroll-related queries, benefits administration, and changes to terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g. leave entitlements, working time, pension obligations).
Performance Management & Engagement
- Support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the performance management process.
- Coach managers on goal setting, feedback, performance improvement, and development planning.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of people processes.
Business Partnering & Line Support
- Partner with line managers across manufacturing, operations, and support functions on day-to-day people-related activities.
- Provide guidance on attendance management, workforce planning, employee wellbeing, and policy interpretation.
- Support change initiatives, restructures, and organisational development activities as required.
Recruitment & Talent Support
- Support the in-house recruitment process from requisition to onboarding.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies and external providers as required.
- Coordinate interviews, offers, contracts, and pre-employment checks.
- Support onboarding and induction processes to ensure a positive employee experience**.Compliance & Policy**
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with Irish employment law and company policies.
- Support policy development, updates, and communication across the business.
- Assist with audits and regulatory requirements as applicable.
HR & Company Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to HR projects and other company projects.

Essential Requirements:
- 5 years’ relevant experience in a HR Generalist or HRBP role, ideally within manufacturing or a fast-paced operational environment.
- Level 7/8 qualification in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
- Proven experience managing employee relations cases end to end.
- Experience with HRIS implementation or optimisation.
- Experience supporting payroll processes and payroll-related queries.
- Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
