Sigmar are working with a global retail organisation currently going through significant international growth and transformation. They are looking to hire a Global Procurement Category Manager to take ownership of Facilities Management, Maintenance and Equipment categories across a large international network.
This role will focus on strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations and driving commercial value across both Capex and Opex spend.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across facilities, maintenance and equipment categories
• Manage end-to-end tendering and supplier selection processes
• Negotiate complex contracts and manage supplier performance
• Drive cost-saving and standardisation initiatives across global operations
• Partner closely with operational and senior stakeholders across multiple regions
• Support wider procurement transformation and global scaling activities
Requirements:
• Around 5+ years’ procurement/category management experience
• Strong experience managing facilities management, maintenance or equipment categories
• Experience negotiating complex goods and services contracts
• Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working across multiple regions or within a large international organisation is an advantage
• Exposure to procurement systems such as Ariba or similar
