Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an HR Administrator who must have previous HR experience. This position will be based in our office in Waterford office , there will be an opportunity for hybrid working after successful completion of the 6 month probation period.

Role Overview

The HR Administrator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support across the full employee lifecycle. This role plays a key part in ensuring the HR department operates smoothly and efficiently, supporting HR functions in recruitment and onboarding activities, coordinating learning and development initiatives, and assisting with employee supports and processes in line with company policies and employment legislation.

What you will be doing?

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records on HR systems and personnel files
  • Monitor emails and respond to routine employee queries professionally and confidentially
  • Maintain and communicate HR policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Support consistent HR policy and employment legislation application, providing first-line guidance to employees and managers
  • Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance requirements using Excel and our HRIS Sage
  • Oversee company annual leave - entitlement reviews, communications and pending requests.
  • Support employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, absence management, probation and performance issues, including preparing documents and taking meeting notes as required
  • Support Employee Wellbeing initiatives, EAP supports and Occ Health Referrals
  • Support the administration of performance management and appraisal processes
  • Oversee the leaver process through Exit interview process
  • Support ad hoc projects as required

  • Previous relevant experience
  • Ideally have a HR qualification or working towards same
  • Professional, approachable, and discreet
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills in Excel and previous Information Systems experience
  • Proactive team player who is also able to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Ability to travel to sites when required
