Contracts Manager

Role Overview

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. This role involves overseeing all contractual and operational aspects of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, programme, and budget.
• Lead project teams, including Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, design teams, and relevant stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, progress reports, and cost plans.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage any contractual issues that arise.
• Monitor procurement, resource allocation, and supply chain performance.
• Support the tendering and bid process when required.
• Ensure adherence to Suirside Construction’s quality management and reporting systems.
• Drive a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a contracts manager role within the construction industry (5+ years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations, BCAR, H&S legislation, and public/private contract frameworks.
• Proven track record in delivering medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore)
