Tegan Innovations Ltd. has been designing and manufacturing specialist automation equipment since 1994. Based in Waterford, we work mainly with leading medical device manufacturers, delivering tailored engineering solutions that improve performance, quality and productivity.

Our team brings together experienced Mechanical, Controls and Electrical Engineers, supported by a high-precision machine shop and skilled CNC machinists. It is a practical, hands-on environment where good ideas are turned into world-class automation systems.

As the business continues to grow, we are expanding further into the design and manufacture of Pilot Production Lines — an exciting area that is attracting strong interest both in Ireland and overseas.

To support that growth, we are looking for an energetic, commercially minded Business Development Manager who can open doors, build strong relationships and help bring our engineering solutions to new customers and markets.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, people-focused role for someone who enjoys getting out there, meeting customers and turning conversations into opportunities.

You will identify new business opportunities, develop customer relationships, promote our products and engineering capabilities, and help grow Tegan Innovations’ presence across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US. Working closely with our engineering team, you will get to know our products and solutions so you can present them confidently to customers.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proven sales and marketing experience and enjoys developing new business.
• Is proactive, self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership.
• Can present ideas confidently and negotiate effectively.
• Is comfortable engaging with customers at all levels.

• Has a positive attitude and thrives in a growing business.
• Is willing to travel to meet customers and attend industry events.

An engineering or manufacturing background would be an advantage, but it is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the personality, enthusiasm, and commercial drive to build lasting customer relationships and generate new business.
