Property & Probate Solicitor
Our client base is diverse and loyal, ranging from private clients and high-net-worth individuals to property developers and local businesses. Due to a sustained increase in instructions, we are now seeking an experienced and ambitious Property & Probate Solicitor to join our dedicated team.
The Role
This is a dual-practice role ideal for a practitioner who enjoys variety and thrives on managing their own busy caseload from inception to completion. You will work closely with the firm's partners, enjoying a high degree of autonomy while receiving excellent administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conveyancing (Residential & Commercial):
- Managing medium-to-high volume residential sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Handling commercial property transactions, including drafting and negotiating commercial leases, landlord & tenant matters, and acquisitions/disposals.
- Conducting thorough title reviews and dealing with complex land registry queries.
- Probate & Estate Planning:
- Drafting Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and advising on estate planning and asset protection.
- Administering estates, including preparing Inland Revenue Affidavits, extracting Grants of Probate/Letters of Administration, and distributing assets.
- Advising executors, administrators, and beneficiaries on their rights and obligations.
- Client Relations:
- Building and maintaining strong, empathetic, and professional relationships with clients, estate agents, financial institutions, and other solicitors.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a practical, proactive professional who can hit the ground running.
- Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor registered with the Law Society of Ireland.
- Experience: Ideally 3+ years PQE with strong, demonstrable experience in both Property Law and Probate/Wills (candidates with slightly more or less experience who demonstrate the right drive and technical capability will also be considered).
- Skills:
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Superb organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment.
- A high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable utilizing legal practice management software.
What We Offer
- Salary: Highly competitive base salary, reflective of your experience.
- Career Progression: Direct access to partners, mentorship, and clear pathways for career advancement within a growing firm.
- Work-Life Balance: While we are busy, we actively discourage a "burnout" culture. We value efficiency and offer a supportive, friendly office atmosphere.
- Location: Superb, easily accessible Dublin 2 office close to all major public transport links (DART, Luas, and bus routes).
- Perks: Professional subscriptions paid, continuous professional development (CPD) support, and regular team social events.
