My client is a leading aviation technology firm which is recruiting an Airline Business Development Director to lead the development of the airline sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven aviation professional with strong airline relationships who wants to play a pivotal role in driving new business, generating revenue, and scaling airline partnerships globally.

Responsibilities:

• Own and deliver the commercial growth plan for the airline sector, with a strong focus on new business generation
• Build and convert a global pipeline of airline opportunities
• Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from origination through to deal close
• Drive P&L performance and revenue growth across airline customers
• Develop and maintain senior airline stakeholder relationships (fleet, finance, technical)
• Collaborate across product, marketing, and finance to align go-to-market execution

Requirements:

• Proven track record of selling solutions directly to airlines
• Strong existing network across airline stakeholders (fleet, engineering, finance)
• Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline and close deals
• Aircraft leasing, airline fleet management or aviation consulting experience is essential
• Experience delivering against revenue targets and contributing to measurable commercial outcomes (e.g. cost savings, revenue generation, contract value)
• Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of fleet economics, maintenance planning, and asset value drivers
• Demonstrated drive, resilience, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
