About the Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced Audit Senior to join a well-established accountancy practice. This role offers strong career progression and the opportunity to work with a varied client base across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver high-quality audit and accounting services to a portfolio of clients
• Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards
• Lead audits for SMEs and regulated entities
• Prepare financial statements for larger audit-exempt companies
• Mentor, train, and supervise junior team members
• Liaise with clients, partners, and internal teams
• Prepare and present reports to clients and stakeholders
• Handle queries from clients, Revenue, banks, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Minimum 2+ years’ post-qualification audit experience in practice
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards
• Experience working with accounting and audit software
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to lead and develop a team

Desirable

• Experience with Corporation Tax
• Exposure to regulated environments (e.g., Central Bank reporting)
